Return and Refund Policy for Latin Roots Records
Overview
Thank you for shopping with us. We understand that sometimes your purchase may not meet your expectations, and we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. Our return and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent. Please review the following terms carefully.
Return Policy
- Eligibility Period: You have 14 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return. To be eligible for a return, the record must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
- Condition: Given the nature of second-hand records, we expect some level of wear. However, if the record is significantly not as described in terms of quality or condition, it is eligible for return.
- Non-returnable Items: Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom orders or records sold as "non-returnable" due to their condition at the time of sale. Please ask if you're unsure about your item.
- Proof of Purchase: To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please include this with your return.
- Damaged During Transit: Please note that we are not responsible for any damage that occurs to the records during transit. We encourage customers to inspect their packages for visible damage before accepting them and to consider purchasing shipping insurance.
Process for Returns
- Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the returned item and in accordance with our return policy.
Refund Policy
- Approval: If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 5-10 Working Days.
- Partial Refunds: In some cases, only partial refunds are granted. For example, if the item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
- Exchanges: We sell one of one records and therefore no exchange policy exists.
